SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA Milligram is Australia’s leading retailer for the world’s best selection of stationery, gifts and homewares. This is the second store we designed for Milligram, and the first with the 'wabi-sabi' inspired ethos. Located on busy King Street in Sydney's Newtown, the store’s design direction drew from two sources: is inspired by two separate sources: the vibrant area it sits within, and the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi – the art of finding beauty in imperfection. Featuring a mix of finishes, the store is a balance of clean lines and tactile finishes.
